Sherry A. Copeland joined Wayne Long & Co in 1997.  Her primary focus is in assisting individual and business clients with their tax compliance and financial reporting requirements.  She is responsible for the quality control of the accounting and auditing services of the Company and oversees the firm’s Peer Review Program.

With over eighteen years experience including audits of school districts, city and county offices, federal and state compliance audits often referred to as Yellow Book audits and a wide range of services in various industries, Sherry has currently shifted her focus to the estate and trust issues that elderly clients face.  Additionally, she manages a variety of clients in a wide range of industries including construction, distributorships and retail.

Mrs. Copeland graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from California State University, Bakersfield in 1990.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of CPAs.
