Lauren graduated from California State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with concentrations in accounting and finance. While attending the University, Lauren received recognition as the Outstanding Student in Accounting for 2007-2008 and has honors affiliations with Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Chi.  During her time at the University she also served as President of the University Accounting Association.

Upon completion of an internship with Wayne Long & Co., she was hired as a staff accountant in 2008. Lauren has since pass the CPA exams and received her CPA licensure. In addition to receiving the 2010 Young and Emerging Professional of the Year Award from the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA - Bakersfield Chapter), Lauren actively participates in CalCPA’s Bakersfield Chapter by serving as Co-Chair of the Young and Emerging Professionals committee.  She has developed in interests in business taxation, financial planning, and general accounting.

Lauren is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
